A Pump Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of various types of pumps. Responsibilities and expectations include:
Ability to accurately diagnose mechanical and operational pump problems.
Performing necessary repairs or replacement.
Conduct preventative maintenance.
Ensure pumps operate efficiently and reliably to prevent future breakdowns.
Provide technical support and guidance to customers on the operation and maintenance of their pumps and pumping systems.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and good communication skills.
Good physical condition and strength able to lift up to 100lbs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Learn and apply new skills provided through on-the-job training.
Maintain truck inventory and clean plumbing truck daily at the end of each working day.
Check truck oil and fluids before leaving the shop.
Complete time-sheet paperwork or electronic submission after the completion of each job.
