Job Summary

As a Mobile Repair Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles and equipment, ensuring they remain safe and operate efficiently. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mechanical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and with a team, while consistently delivering exceptional customer service.

Essential Functions

  • Follow all Company Safety Policies and Procedures as well as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and guidelines.
  • Support business activities, objectives, and programs.
  • Maintain a safe work environment.
  • Organize and maintain a clean work area.
  • Travel to job locations to service equipment by troubleshooting issues, performing inspections, repairs, and installations efficiently.
  • Show determination and drive in getting the job done with high quality outcomes.
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of repairs, diagnostics, parts used, and services performed.

Position Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in the service repair industry (Auto/Heavy Truck and Equipment)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, CDL preferred.
  • Knowledge of gas and diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Flexibility to meet the company’s needs.
  • Legal right to work in the U.S.

Position will require daily travel to PII facilities and vendors in northern VT and NH. Heavy work that includes moving objects up to 50 lb. or more. This position works on or near moving mechanical parts and loud equipment. Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time as well as lifting, pulling, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, walking, reaching, driving, and repetitive motion. On occasion the job will require going out in the field and various plants and quarries.
