HR Coordinator

We are looking for an HR Coordinator to join our team in Montpelier, Vermont. This is a contract to permanent position offering an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support while ensuring the smooth operation of HR-related functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative assistance, including managing email inboxes, handling walk-in inquiries, scanning documents, filing records, and issuing employee badges.
  • Answer incoming calls, triage inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate departments.
  • Uphold confidentiality standards in all tasks and responsibilities.
  • Assist with HR functions as required, with preference given to candidates with prior HR experience.
  • Operate independently in a detail-oriented office setting with consistent foot traffic.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with the HR Manager to support departmental objectives.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes and ensure background checks are completed accurately.
  • Deliver exceptional receptionist duties, providing a welcoming and organized front desk experience.
  • Requirements:

    • Proven experience in administrative support or a similar role.
    • Familiarity with HR processes, including onboarding and compliance, is highly preferred.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the position.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Proficiency in using office equipment and software, including scanners and email platforms.
    • Capability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
    • Prior experience in a healthcare or well-organized office environment is an advantage.
