The Graduate Student Services Coordinator for the Grossman School of Business (GSB) supports GSB prospective and current grad candidates by serving in an essential role of fostering student success, retention, and timely degree completion. This role supports course planning and setup for the graduate programs to ensure seamless delivery, in addition to coordination of on and off-campus events to support graduate programs. Major responsibilities include:
Student Support - Assist with onboarding and orientation for new cohorts. - Monitor academic performance and proactively reach out to students at risk to provide guidance and referrals.
Recruitment Support - Coordinate planning, promotion, and execution of recruitment webinars for prospective students. - Represent GSB grad programs at college fairs, career fairs, site visits, and other external engagement events.
Program and Enrollment Support - Compile student admissions data and application data for graduate programs-includes tracking missing materials, processing deposits and scholarships, and keeping applicants informed of their progress. - Organize, track, and process in-program scholarships for incoming and current grad students.
Program Event Coordination: - Coordinate and support all graduate program related events, working closely with GSB Events staff.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) - Associate’s degree in a related field and one to three years’ working with students, program coordination, or related experience. Proficient in spreadsheet, database and word-processing applications to include editing and proofreading skills. Effective organizational, communication, team collaboration, and interpersonal skills with attention to detail. Demonstrated multicultural competence and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment. Demonstrated ability to adapt to change. Proficiency with productivity software, database applications, data generation, and maintenance of confidential records.
Desirable Qualifications - Proficiency with student information systems and advising tools (e.g., Banner, DegreeWorks, Salesforce, Slate). Experience with event management, programming, and implementation. Experience with college student personnel. Experience working with diverse and international student populations. Knowledge of AACSB accreditation standards and graduate program assessment.
Anticipated Pay Range 27.47-29.58/hr
