Network Security Engineer

We are looking for a Network Security Engineer to strengthen our Security Architecture & Engineering team.

In this role, you will play a key part in protecting Verisure's global network infrastructure, shaping secure architectures, and ensuring our connectivity meets the highest security standards.

What You'll Do

1. Define and drive the roadmap and strategy for network security
2. Design secure network architectures across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments
3. Configure, deploy, and maintain network security controls
4. Ensure segmentation of critical assets and secure connectivity
5. Monitor network traffic, identify threats, and support incident response
6. Integrate network security controls into automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and mitigate risks
8. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend continuous improvements

What You Bring

• At least 3+ years of experience in network security engineering
• Strong knowledge of technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, proxies, VPNs, SD-WAN, DDoS protection, and SASE
• Solid understanding of LAN/WAN architectures, Zero Trust, and network segmentation
• Experience with automation and scripting
• Ability to work independently with strong communication and collaboration skills
• Advanced English and Spanish (spoken and written)
• Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field
