We are looking for a skilled and professional Legal Counsel - Customer Service with a strong legal background to join our team. In this role, you will play a key role in combining legal expertise with customer focus. The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of contract law, consumer legislation, and evidence law, supplemented with relevant practical experience in a legal environment. In addition to your substantive knowledge, you are someone who can translate complex matters into understandable language. You enjoy solving problems and know how to support customers in a clear and empathetic way, especially when the situation is sensitive or complex. With this, you contribute to an optimal customer experience, while at the same time carefully safeguarding the interests of Verisure.
You will be the primary contact point for customers with complex issues and complaints, which you handle both verbally and in writing. You will work closely with colleagues from other departments and, where necessary, external parties to get all the facts and circumstances clear. You translate legal issues and procedures into clear, customer-friendly explanations and work with our legal and compliance teams to reach a suitable solution. This way, you provide customers with optimal service while at the same time protecting Verisure's interests. In addition, you actively contribute to improvements by identifying recurring problems and proposing and implementing solutions. You are also responsible for drafting and keeping up-to-date legal templates and know-how documents.
