VP Sales

With clear ownership of Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), structure, and execution, you manage a disciplined SaaS sales engine—combining strong leadership, predictable pipelines, and value-based selling to turn strategy into measurable commercial results.

As the VP Sales, you're also a valued part of the overall leadership for Verisk Nordics.

As VP Sales, you own the European go-to-market execution for our software solutions and services in the insurance claims domain. Your mandate is clear: grow ARR sustainably, build a scalable sales organization, and establish a disciplined, value-based sales approach across the Nordics and Europe. You work closely with the executive team and cross-functional leaders to ensure sales execution is aligned with product strategy, customer value, and long-term retention.

Responsibilities

Revenue & Growth

  • Own revenue and ARR targets across Europe
  • Drive growth across new business, expansion, and renewals
  • Ensure predictable pipeline, forecasting, and performance tracking

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Execute a SaaS-first, value-based sales approach
  • Define segmentation, ICPs, and sales motions
  • Lead complex enterprise deals

Sales Leadership

  • Build, lead, and retain high-performing sales teams
  • Set clear goals, accountability, and coaching standards
  • Participate in high-level customer discussions

Go-to-Market & Operations

  • Align closely with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success
  • Own CRM usage, sales processes, and performance dashboards

Executive & Market Leadership

  • Represent Sales at executive level both internally and externally
  • Feed market and customer insights into product and pricing decisions

Qualifications

Must-have

  • 10+ years in B2B software sales with senior leadership responsibility
  • Proven ownership of ARR and subscription revenue growth
  • Strong experience in enterprise and mid-market solution selling
  • Solid understanding of SaaS KPIs (ARR, churn, NRR, CAC, LTV)
  • Insurance or regulated-industry experience
  • Multi-country sales leadership in Europe
