As part of the HR team at Verisk Specialty Business Solutions (VSBS), you'll work closely with HR Business Partners and other HR teams. You'll support a wide range of HR activities across the entire employee lifecycle — from onboarding, through day-to-day operations, to data and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with queries from employees and managers and directing them to the right information, people, or policies
  • Preparing various types of HR documentation
  • Supporting the creation of regular HR reports
  • Helping analyze HR data to support decision-making
  • Keeping HR systems up-to-date and ensuring data accuracy
  • Getting involved in HR initiatives across Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, and Compensation
  • Taking on additional tasks that support your learning and the team's work

Qualifications

  • You must be 18 or older when starting the apprenticeship
  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 7 or above
  • No previous HR or business qualifications are required — we'll provide full training and support
  • A GCSE in Business Studies or similar is a plus
  • A genuine interest in building a career in HR and a willingness to learn
  • Good IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, respect for confidentiality, and high attention to detail
