REWS Workplace Services Manager
As the REWS Workplace Services Manager, you will be the central operational leader responsible for the day-to-day excellence of all Verily office locations.
You will directly manage site-level service programs, ensuring seamless and efficient operations. This includes critical functions such as landlord coordination and comprehensive vendor management.
Acting as a key internal business partner, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all Real Estate & Workplace Services (REWS) programs. You will actively support, collaborate, and coordinate with Verily teams, leaders, and staff to facilitate effective office operations and elevate the employee experience.
Crucially, you will be responsible for managing the successful integration and execution of all REWS global programs at the local site level.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage comprehensive workplace services programs across multiple Verily office locations within a defined geographic region, encompassing office amenities, janitorial services, transportation, food and beverage, reception, events, and Real Estate & Workplace Services (REWS) communications.
- Provide strategic management and programmatic guidance to REWS Facility Managers and Office Managers across other Verily sites to ensure operational consistency and excellence.
- Collaborate closely with REWS leadership and the Finance team to conduct rigorous financial analysis, accurately forecast spend, and manage budget allocations.
- Drive continuous improvement by synthesizing onsite observations, data analysis, and key stakeholder feedback, presenting insights to REWS leadership.
- Elevate the overall staff site experience, including managing REWS-related communications and developing a seamless workplace component for new employee onboarding.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Finance, or Business Operations).
- 15+ years of progressive business experience, including 10+ years of hands-on leadership in real estate, facilities, EH&S management, or workplace services, with a focus on consulting or multi-site operations.
- Specific, proven experience leading a multi-site facilities function within an early stage/rapid growth environment.
- Exceptional strategic and operational planning capabilities; a highly organized, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious leader capable of thriving in a fast-paced, constantly evolving setting.
- Demonstrated ability to drive progress and manage multiple priorities simultaneously, successfully navigating critical issues and prioritizing solutions across diverse operational tracks.
- Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFM, FMP, PMP, etc.).
- Exceptional senior-level business partnering and influencing skills, including the proven ability to lead discussions and drive decision-making at the C-Suite level.
- Demonstrable success in building, leading, and developing high-performing Real Estate, Facilities, and Workplace Services teams in complex, multi-geographic environments.
- Experience supporting a business through the full lifecycle, from early R&D stages to becoming a mature operating company.
Qualified applicants must not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $121,000 - $172,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
