About the Role

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Field Service Engineer will be responsible for delivering exceptional on-site technical support to our customers. This includes installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Videojet equipment with a focus on electromechanical diagnostics and repairs. You'll be a key point of contact for our customers, building strong relationships, managing expectations, and ensuring our solutions perform at their best. This role requires flexibility to travel across a large territory, with occasional overnight stays. Based in the Greater Manchester area, Remote.

A Typical Day Will Look Like:

• Install and commission new Videojet solutions at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and reactive service to maximize equipment uptime.
• Diagnose and repair electromechanical, electrical, and mechanical issues on Videojet equipment.
• Support product trials and demonstrations in collaboration with the sales team.
• Build strong customer relationships through excellent service, clear communication, and a proactive approach to recommending improvements.

The Essential Requirements of the Job Include:

• Field service experience in an electromechanical, mechanical, electrical, or engineering environment.
• Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills and experience with equipment installation and maintenance (industrial production environment experience is an advantage).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to manage expectations and build trust.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Flexible to travel across a large territory, with occasional overnight stays.
