What makes this role so unique

As a Field Service Engineer, you play a key role in our Netherlands organization. In this role you are responsible for the region of Venlo/Limburg. You are the face of Videojet at customer sites and ensure smooth installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of our solutions. And you're never on your own: you work closely with our technical support team as well as colleagues from sales and service.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being on the road, thrives on technical challenges and genuinely likes engaging with customers.

You're reporting to Tom, Field Service Manager who is leading the team of 9 across the Netherlands.

What your workday looks like

You start your day by reviewing your schedule, which you can largely organize yourself. At your first customer visit, you install a new coding solution, fine-tune the machine and answer technical questions. Later in the day, you might carry out a preventive maintenance visit, support a demo for a potential customer, or join a team discussion about a more complex issue.

And at the end of the day? You drive back home - usually without overnight stays, since all your work is within the Netherlands.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Install and commission new Videojet solutions and ensure smooth operation
• Perform maintenance, service and troubleshooting on-site
• Work closely with sales to support system trials and customer demonstrations
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through solid communication and service skills
• Accurately document service activities in our IT systems
• Contribute to commercial results by advising on service contracts and additional services

Our new colleague

We're looking for someone who loves technical problem-solving and interacting with customers.

You bring:

• 2 - 5 years of Field Service experience, on-site or remote
• Experience in coding/marking, industrial automation or a similar technical field (strong plus)
• A focus on quality and a proven track record of achieving goals
• Fluency in Dutch (required) and strong English skills
• A valid driver's license (required) and willingness to travel daily to customers across the Netherlands
• Willingness to travel abroad for training
