The Depot Service Technician at the Regensdorf location is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, calibrating, and verifying X-Rite instruments in a centralized service depot. The role ensures high-quality repairs, short turnaround times (TAT), complete traceability, and compliance with X-Rite and Veralto quality standards – including calibration and regulatory requirements. This position contributes significantly to consistent and reliable service for customers in the industrial, automotive, printing, packaging, and color management sectors.

Main tasks

  • Repair, testing, and calibration of measurement and color measurement devices
  • Processing of the RMA process including turnaround times and traceability
  • Complete technical documentation in ERP/service systems
  • Management of spare parts, tools, and calibration devices
  • Compliance with quality, safety, and compliance requirements and participation in improvements

Preferred qualifications

  • Completed technical training (electrical engineering, automation, precision mechanics)
  • Experience with measurement, calibration, or laboratory instruments.
  • Experience in a global service organization or a centralized service depot.
  • Knowledge of lean methodology, standard work, or continuous improvement.
  • Experience with Oracle
  • English language skills would be a plus
