Key Account Manager For Kids, Underwear & Accessories

We are looking for a Key Account Manager on a fixed-term basis for 2 years for our team Kids, Underwear & Accessories with a very good chance of subsequent conversion to an indefinite contract.

As a Key Account Manager, you will report directly to the Business Manager, be responsible for the daily management of the brands in our exciting portfolio, and ensure the mediation and conclusion of offers (analysis, continuous improvements, and planning) in line with the sales target and the expected proximity to the brands in your category.

You will also contribute to the growth of the categories by driving business development aimed at increasing the number of partner brands and sales (acquisition, pitching, sales, and negotiation up to the conclusion of deals).

Responsibilities:

  • Continuous identification of renowned and significant brands and suppliers - design of projects, search for remaining quotas, development of individual solutions
  • Identification and acquisition of new strategic business partners
  • Expansion and maintenance of existing business relationships
  • Design and negotiation of offers and contracts
  • Active marketing of the company concept and its advantages for the expansion of the strategic
  • Continuous competitive observation and tracking of new trends, current market developments, and unique opportunities
  • Close cooperation with European colleagues
  • Close cross-functional cooperation with neighboring departments such as planning and marketing, logistics, and quality management, as well as sales colleagues in other European markets

Must Have Skills:

  • A good to very good completed study or a solid training with a focus on sales/purchasing
  • At least 3 years of sales experience in a comparable environment
  • Fun in building new contacts and business relationships
  • Knowledge of the needs of end customers and a sense for current trends and developments
  • Negotiation-safe German and English skills in speech and writing; French skills are an advantage
  • High level of self-motivation & ambition
  • Very good communication skills
  • Team player & healthy self-confidence

Recruitment Process:

  • 15-30-minute phone interview with our HR representative
  • 60-minute interview with hiring manager and HR representative
  • Approx. 90-minute getting to know each other with the team and first practical insights into the tasks
