Über Die Position

As an Enterprise Systems Engineer (also: Senior Presales Consultant; Senior Sales Engineer) at Veeam, you will work closely with our sales colleagues and bring our products and solutions to our partners, resellers, and end-customers. Your technical expertise is particularly in demand and ideally, you have deeper solution and presales experience with customers in the enterprise segment. Das Sind Deine Aufgaben:

• Acting as SME for Veeam’s products and close collaboration with our sales colleagues
• Conducting technical presales meetings and presentations both virtually and on-site
• Understanding the technical and strategic customer challenges and showing how Veeam can be positioned as a success factor to achieve the customer goals
• Customer support during product evaluation and knowledge transfer in the presales phase
• Working together with customers and partners to convert customer and business requirements into technical requirements and present them
• Implementation and creation of proof of concepts with our partners and customers
• Participating in and conducting events, webinars, and other events to generate leads and present our products to the market

Das Bringst Du Mit:

• Experience in dealing with enterprise customers and enterprise topics
• Solution selling and technical presales experience in enterprise customers in backup and security environments
• Profound understanding of IT infrastructures, as well as their dependencies in complex data centers
• Experience in the deployment of software solutions and their rollout in complex IT environments
• Practical experience with data backup technologies, storage, and server or cloud-based technologies
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Very good communication skills in writing and speech, as well as experience in presentations both in German and English

Bonus Skills:

• Provision of software solutions in complex environments
• In-depth understanding of Veeam and/or similar technologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; you must be able to present in front of groups in English and German
• Industry-relevant professional certifications are desirable
