The Radiation Information Support Associate handles image imports and records distribution and electronic record maintenance for the Department of Radiology. This job imports images into McKesson; processes image archival, outside consult, CD create request and appropriate document transfer; utilizes image application to import images from outside CD's into PACS; communicates with other facilities to obtain image reports/records; creates new patient image record and medical record accounts; merges outside images with existing patient accounts, etc.

Experience Required: Minimum of four (4) years of work experience in supporting Radiology image management and PACS workflows plus a High School Diploma or equivalent; or Minimum of six (6) months of experience in computer operations, data entry and/or electronic record information management plus an Associates Degree in Radiology Technology, Information Technology, Health Information Management or closely related field from an accredited program
Experience Preferred: Three (3) years experience in Radiology informatics support
