Business Area Wind is responsible for Vattenfall's onshore and offshore wind energy and for other activities in sustainable energy, except hydropower energy. Today, we develop, build, and operate wind energy in the United Kingdom, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and the Netherlands.
The Princess Ariane Wind Park is located in the Wieringermeer polder, in the head of North Holland, and consists of 82 Nordex wind turbines of the type N117. The service building with offices, workshop, and warehouse is located in the middle of the wind park, near the town of Slootdorp. From here we work with a team of about 15 people to make the wind park perform optimally.
What will you do as a Service Technician?
You will carry out planned and unplanned maintenance activities in teams of two according to the agreed work instructions.
Compliance with all safety and health requirements is of course expected from you, especially when working at great heights. In addition, you will make recommendations to improve safety and operational procedures.
As a technician, you will be involved in the proactive identification and reporting of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic malfunctions. You will diagnose and repair turbine components. You will track down errors, solve problems, carry out maintenance and repair of all turbine systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic assembly and repair of important components.
Based on a rotating malfunction service schedule, you will also be available regularly on weekends to carry out turbine repairs.
Finally, you will keep maintenance history of wind turbines, such as service reports and report the necessary data in the Vattenfall management system (SAP).
Location:
You will work from a fixed location, namely Slootdorp in Wieringermeer. Sometimes you may also be temporarily deployed to other Vattenfall wind parks further in the Netherlands.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with electrical technical knowledge and, preferably, a completed MBO-3 or 4 work and thought level or a similar technical background.
Examples of training can be: MBO General Operational Technique, Naval Engineering, Energy Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
