Vattenfall Vindkraft A/S has the responsibility for the development, establishment, and operation and maintenance of Vattenfall's wind turbines in Denmark. The wind turbine area in Vattenfall is currently in a strong development with many exciting projects and large investments in the coming years, which means exciting, new challenges.
We are now looking for an Operations Manager for our offshore wind farm Horns Rev 1 in Esbjerg.
We have the main task of operating and maintaining the 80 wind turbines on Horns Rev 1, which are located west of Esbjerg in the North Sea.
The department's main focus is to keep the availability up and at the same time optimize the operation and maintenance activities so that production costs are kept to a minimum.
This is done in a way that safety is the highest priority when planning and carrying out the work.
Wind is at the center of Vattenfall's strategic ambition, and O&M contributes to making wind a long-term profitable business. We are looking for a profile that is willing to learn, and it is therefore not a requirement that you have knowledge of the industry if you have the right mindset and willingness to learn. Human competencies are highly valued, as one of the key tasks for the position is to help develop the department's people management.
