Function Description

Do you have a completed HBO/WO degree and a passion for HR? Look no further! Vattenfall is leading the way in the transition to a sustainable energy system and we are looking for reinforcement for our close-knit HR team of nine people.

As an HR Officer, you will be part of our HR Direct team: the beating heart of HR in the Netherlands. Together with eight colleagues, you will be the first point of contact for employees, managers, and HR business partners. You will answer questions, process changes, and actively contribute to process improvements.

What will you do?

  • Answering HR-related questions via phone, chat, email, and tickets
  • Processing in-, through-, and out-flow of employees
  • Timely processing of contract changes
  • Assigning Vattenfall benefits to employees
  • Advising on HR administrative matters
  • Contributing to process improvements

Who are you? You are an enthusiastic, eager, and proactive professional with a passion for HR and an eye for detail. You enjoy helping employees and think creatively about smart solutions.

Your profile:

  • Minimum HBO education, preferably HRM
  • Interest in people, process optimization, and digital tools
  • Good communicative skills in Dutch and basic English
  • Analytical and tech-savvy
  • Competencies: proactive, pragmatic, service-oriented, and solution-oriented

Additional Information

We offer

The level of your salary is based on your education and your relevant work experience. The salary for this position is €3,400 to €4,200 gross per month, excluding holiday pay, based on a 38-hour workweek. In addition to your salary, we offer a good secondary employment benefits package, the most important parts of which are:

  • Based on your annual salary, you receive 8% holiday pay, a year-end allowance of 4.5%, and a profit-sharing of up to 3.5% of your annual salary based on the results of Vattenfall Netherlands (RDR)
  • NS Business card for commuting or travel expense reimbursement of €0.23 per km (max. 50 km one way) and a home office allowance of €3.05
  • 20 vacation days, 5 additional vacation days (part of My Choice My Budget)
  • 2 additional days to compensate for overtime, from scale 9 (part of My Choice My Budget)
  • 3.5 vitality days and 13 ADV days (with a 38-hour contract with a 40-hour workweek)
  • My Budget My Choice: buy and sell extra vacation days, buy a bicycle, or you can have your budget (monthly) paid out
  • Pension with ABP: Vattenfall contributes 70% and you 30%
  • Health insurance Collective Discount with Zilveren Kruis Achmea
  • 4 leave days to perform voluntary work via Vattenfall Foundation
  • Training budget for personal development
