Facility Management Supervisor – Hard Services

About the Role

We are now looking for two Facility Management Supervisors within Hard Services for the northern and southern regions of our organization Real Estate and Facility Management!

Real Estate & Facility Management is a Shared Service organization responsible for Vattenfall Norden's leased and owned office buildings, as well as all services needed for the operation of the facilities and office environments. This includes responsibility for lease contracts, external and internal service and maintenance of the facilities, as well as office services including security, reception, housekeeping, office supplies, coffee and fruit, mail handling, document archiving, exchange, furniture, and interior design.

As a Facility Management Supervisor for Hard Services, you will be responsible for the daily management and service operations within technical management and property care of our facilities and offices through active leadership. You will drive improvements for all establishments assigned to the properties and are responsible for the operation and follow-up of KPIs and operational budgets.

Your duties include:

  • Managing and following up on the activities with suppliers for facility management including case management and operational meetings.
  • Resolving any deficiencies in the delivery.
  • Participate in and propose and evaluate operational improvements.
  • Work towards consensus between suppliers and our organization.
  • Actively work on occupational health issues within the area of responsibility.
  • Ensure that all regulatory requirements are followed within the area of responsibility.
  • Responsibility for creating and following up on operational budgets for technical management and care.
  • Invoice management.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Post-secondary education in property technology or equivalent within energy and/or building technology.
  • Several years of experience in a similar role within the operation and technical management of commercial properties or housing.
  • Good knowledge of property technical systems such as electricity, plumbing, ventilation, control, fire, and passage with in-depth knowledge in one or more of these areas.
  • Good familiarity with laws, regulations, and standards within plumbing, energy, elevators, fire, and electricity.
  • Experience in working with energy management and energy optimization of commercial properties or housing.
  • Knowledge of construction law.
  • IT and system knowledge with practical experience in MS Office, invoice management systems, case management systems, and BMS systems at the property level.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and experience in working on initiatives for a safe working environment.
  • Experience in managing, controlling, and following up on suppliers within technical management and property care.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English.
  • Driving license class B.

It is advantageous if you also have:

  • Practical experience in working with and analyzing BMS systems at the property portfolio level.
  • Experience in technical management of industrial or process industry facilities.
  • Experience in construction contracting and follow-up.
  • Training and practical experience as a project or assignment leader.
  • Experience in a supervisory role.
  • Professional experience in operational practical work within electricity, plumbing, or similar.

We are looking for someone who, with the help of IT and experienced suppliers, as well as a proactive approach, can manage the technical systems of our facilities to ensure a good and safe working environment for our employees in northern and southern Sweden as well as Denmark over time. You have relevant education and experience in the technical management of properties at such a level that you can not only manage the operation of our property systems but also contribute to their development.

Being able to create good personal and effective working relationships with our suppliers and colleagues is extremely important to manage facilities in such a large geographical area. You must therefore be service-oriented and good at communication.

Our nuclear power plant in Forsmark/Ringhals (depending on the region you operate in) is part of our larger facilities where you will often be present.
