Marketing Internship

Position Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns for projects and services.
- Create engaging written, visual, and video content for social media, email newsletters, blogs, and websites.
- Conduct market research and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities in the transportation and logistics sector.
- Support the creation of marketing materials.
- Help manage social media platforms, community engagement initiatives and industry events. (e.g., tradeshows, conferences, VASCOR-hosted customer events, etc.)
- Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics and suggest improvements.
- Stay current with transportation and logistics trends, technologies, and industry news
Essential Skills and Experience:
Education:
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Transportation Planning, Urban Studies, or a related field of study.
Training:
- VASCOR-specific training will be on-the-job training.
Skills:
- Must be able to commute to the Farmington Hills/Detroit offices as needed for filming content
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, YouTube)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams
- Interest in transportation and logistics topics
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools is a plus
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks and deadlines
