As a Senior Software Engineer on the Self-Serve Team, you'll be part of the Platform organization at Vanta, working horizontally across many areas of the product. Compliance is a complex and ever-changing space—regulations are dense, requirements vary, and for most companies, achieving compliance for the first time feels overwhelming. Our team's mission is to make this process simpler, clearer, and faster.
You'll help drive customer activation, engagement, and retention by building features and tools that demystify compliance. The work you do will guide customers toward first-time compliance by breaking down complexity into approachable steps, reducing friction, and accelerating their journey with AI-powered experiences. From automating repetitive tasks to surfacing intelligent insights, you'll make it easier for companies to understand what they need to do, and help them reach compliance with confidence.
Beyond direct customer impact, your contributions will strengthen Vanta's platform by developing reusable patterns and primitives that other teams can leverage to drive activation across their own areas. You'll also play a key role in enabling new business opportunities by building out patterns that support product trials, empowering prospects to try before they buy and making compliance accessible from day one. Finally, you'll contribute to in-app purchasing and integrations—both for Vanta's own products and third-party offerings—so customers can manage all of their compliance needs in one place.
