Job Summary: Applies the nursing process to plan and manage the care of complex patients in a comprehensive manner. Recognizes complex learning needs and prepares individual teaching plans for patients/families and consistently demonstrates effective patient education to peers. Consistently ensures a comprehensive continuum of care plan in collaboration with the health care team. Demonstrates and role models effective communication and conflict resolution skills. Ensures evidence-based care and continuously monitors patient outcomes. Furthers professional growth by engaging in learning activities according to Board of Nursing standards. Floats across entities to fulfill requirements of the role.

Shift: Night Shift (7p – 7a)

Short-Term Assignment Key Benefits:

• Premium Pay– pay rate $65/hour
• Medical benefits available through TempForce
• Assignment in the same hospital (might float between units)
• Work 13-week assignments (hours are not guaranteed); maximum working limits are 52 weeks

Vanderbilt Tullahoma Harton Hospital - Tullahoma, TN.

Units Available:

Women's Service (Labor & Delivery/Post-Partum)

Length of assignment: 13 weeks.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse Required
• Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program (or equivalent experience) and 2 years of relevant L&D/Postpartum experience.

Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration:

• Registered Nurse Required

Job Types: Temporary during the 13-week assignment, can renew assignment up to a year.
