Microsoft Engineer will provide administrative support on Microsoft Windows Client/Server based environments; install, tune and administer Windows enterprise environments; provide solutions to mitigate any discrepancies found in order to enhance system performance and stability; ensure that each of the systems are properly maintained and operational. This position is customer facing and requires excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications, analytical and presentation skills. Ability to operate in a flexible team environment with minimal supervision.
Education: B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related field MCSE preferred
Experience: Five years systems server engineering experience required
Experience with Active Directory (architecture, design, and troubleshooting) required
Experience with virtual environments, primarily VMware required
Certification & Licensures: MCSA or MCSE preferred
Qualifications: Familiarity with System Center Operations Manager and Configuration Manager required
Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange and MS SQL database environments required
Familiarity with Microsoft operating systems 2008/2012 required, Windows 2016 a plus
Familiarity with HP and Dell server hardware a plus
Familiarity with enterprise storage environments required
Understanding of TCP/IP networks required
