Discipline Engineer - NVH

Depending on his/her scope, the incumbent will be in charge of one the domain :

Budget: Demonstrate awareness of project budgets and strive to optimize resource utilization within their scope of work.

Support operations: Execute technical solutions for engineering tasks within defined projects, focusing on Newness levels 1-2 (fully applied or design based on existing rules). Actively participate in problem-solving initiatives under the guidance of senior engineers, applying Valeo standard methodologies like QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) to analyze issues and contribute to solution finding. Prepare clear and concise technical documentation, including reports, specifications, and presentations, to effectively communicate their work.

Competencies: Continuously develop technical skills and knowledge within the Discipline, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements. Provide technical guidance and support to Discipline Junior Engineers, fostering their onboarding and skill development. Apply existing design standards effectively in their work, ensuring alignment with Valeo's guidelines and best practices.

Efficiency: Actively adopt and utilize digital tools and processes outlined in the Discipline's Digitalization Roadmap to enhance efficiency and productivity. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for optimization within their scope of work and suggesting improvements to existing processes.

Innovation: Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and contribute innovative ideas to enhance existing solutions or develop new approaches. Develop an understanding of intellectual property protection and contribute to the identification of potentially patentable inventions.

Collaboration and Influence: Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders within the team, ensuring clear and concise information exchange. Collaborate effectively with other engineers and team members to achieve project objectives and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
