We are recruiting an IS Data Analyst/Engineer trainee.

Under the supervision of the responsible of Data Gov. & Analytics IS domain, you assist, contribute, and participate in three main axes: Data Governance, New Analytics, and Data Protection.

Your missions:

1. Data Governance

• Participate in the implementation of the VS Data Catalog
• Explore opportunities in the existent VS Data Management systems functionalities that can be exploited in terms of Data Governance & Data Quality
• Participate in the analysis of the actual VS Data Ecosystem in the research of improvement & opportunities areas

2. New Analytics

• Participate in the implementation of Analytics projects in GCP, with the coordination of the IS Analytics lead (Data ingestion & Processing, Validation, Quality & Data Visualization)
• Explore opportunities in terms of possible use cases and experimentation in terms of Data Analytics, Data Engineering & AI

3. Data Protection

• Support the operational follow up of the Data Protection Program implementation
• Support on the creation of documentation & tools
• Study and analyse of the actual/new internal Valeo Data Protection policies & tools
• Assists on the Valeo Data Processing Register update
• Data Protection Register documentation
• Data Flow documentation & other
• Participate in the audit & test of data protection actions in IS or Digital applications

About You:

• You are in training Big Data / Data Governance / Data Analytics / IS Consulting - Audit
• An excellent mastery of English (written and oral) is essential
• You are looking for a contract of 1 year minimum
• Understanding of the principles, tools, and frameworks of data governance, data protection, analysis, and data engineering
• Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its associated tools
• Technical skills (e.g., programming, script writing, or work with APIs)
• Analytical mind and proactive approach to problem-solving
• Knowledge of fundamental project management principles, including planning, organization, and task prioritization
• Knowledge of consulting methodologies and fundamental audit principles, including risk assessment and compliance processes
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex concepts
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Experience in AI-related projects is an asset
