***This position is physically located in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP***

The Structural Engineer is responsible for QA & QC. Provides technical and design support for structural systems related to facilities and infrastructure under the V2X LOGCAP V program. This role includes structural design, review of contractor submissions, coordination with other engineering disciplines, and ensuring that structural systems comply with quality, safety, and operational standards. The position supports both design and construction/installation phases to ensure optimal performance and compliance with V2X and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review contractor-submitted Civil / Structural / Architectural plans, drawings, and data sheets.
• Evaluate and coordinate the sub-contractor structural material procurement, delivery, and installation schedule vis-à-vis the project timeline.
• Design structural systems including foundations, framing, and supports.
• Assess contractor performance and verify accomplishment billings.
• Assist in the evaluation and billing validation of structural works
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure integrated design outputs.
• Monitor and update management on structural design and construction concerns
• Respond to structural-related technical queries.
• Ensure compliance with V2X safety standards, design codes, and client specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications:
  • College Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from a CHED-accredited university
  • Licensed Civil Engineer. Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Registered.
  • Philippines Driver's License
  • Must be a Filipino Citizen
• Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Structural design and analysis
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in using Google Suite / MS Office / Drafting Software
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Construction Supervisor & Management
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Quality Assurance & Quality Control
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Civil & Architectural Design & Drafting
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Environment, Health & Safety
• Skills:
  • Interpretation and review of engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • Familiarity with design codes and load analysis standards.
  • Risk assessment and structural safety evaluation.
  • Technical report preparation and presentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Risk assessment and structural safety evaluation.
  • Strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize workload
  • Ability to provide great customer service under stressful conditions
  • Able to draft, by AutoCAD or other structural / civil / architectural software, his/her own design
• Working Condition:
  • Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit with high humidity
  • Adjustable to changing weather and environmental conditions
• Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull 25 lbs.; Work will require walking up and down stairs, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting.
  • Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
  • Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
