UT Parking and Transportation Services is responsible for the management of over 17,000 parking spaces on campus, including 12 parking garages and more than 50 surface parking lots. Our operations include the distribution and regulation of daily, permitted, and event parking, as well as the maintenance of parking lots and garages. We also provide assistance to those parked on or traveling through campus. This assistance includes jump-starts and opening vehicles for those locked out.

Position is year-round. Must also be available to work during the summer months. Working schedule based on needs of business and varies weekly. Flexibility required. Evenings, weekends, holidays required. Must work a minimum of 24 hours a week up to 29 hours a week. Other related functions as assigned. Must work each home football game.
High school graduation or GED. A combination of three years' experience in leadership roles, working with money, keeping records, and working in a fast-paced environment. One year of supervisory experience. Must have well demonstrated computer skills; professional demeanor; flexibility; show attention to detail; have reliable transportation; display punctual, dependable attendance; show proven customer service skills; show proven supervisory skills. Must be available to work through the summer months and during winter break. Must also be available to work on weekends and during the late afternoon and evening hours during the week. Must have a valid Texas Driver's License.
More than three years of combined relative accounting experience. More than one year university operations experience. Related experience in the operation of a university parking or other high volume parking system. Experience working in multiple garage environment. Demonstrated effective inter-personal communication skills, both written and verbal.
This job requires a class "C" operator's driver's license. The applicant selected must provide a current three year driving record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas driver's license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident. Employees who are required to have a CDL are subject to drug and alcohol testing (pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, random, return-to-duty, and follow-up drug and alcohol testing).
$20.00/hour
PART-TIME position - 24 hours weekly, variable schedule

Retirement Plan Eligibility: The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
