KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Manager to join our Business Tax Services practice. Responsibilities include:

• Providing tax compliance and advisory services to corporations and partnerships for a variety of clients from Fortune 100 to emerging businesses
• Participating with accounting for income taxes including ASC 740
• Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provide industry knowledge and experience; managing a portfolio of clients of varying size and scope and acting as the first point of contact for internal and external clients
• Building and maintaining client relationships, monitoring teams of tax professionals and assistants working on client projects; involving and contributing to market and business activities external to the firm
• Overseeing risk and financial performance of engagements including billing, collections and the project budgets
• Advising clients and being responsible for delivering high quality tax service and advice

Qualifications include:

• Minimum eight years of recent corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation and/or law firm
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; licensed CPA, EA or JD/LLM with strong knowledge of ASC 740, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials
• Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations and partnerships
• Prior experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams
• Excellent advisory, compliance, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information
