As a CBRE Engineering Ops Director, you will manage the team responsible for managing the performance of MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems) and maintaining continuity throughout to provide overall quality control for all properties. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You'll Do:

• Oversee a business unit’s financial performance.

• Seek out new business.

• Approve hiring contractors and subcontractors based on facility need.

• Direct the daily operation of facility controls and asset management systems.

• Provide formal supervision to employees.

• Coordinate and manage the team’s daily activities.

• Apply a robust knowledge of multiple disciplines, the business, and key drivers which impact departmental and cross-functional performance.

• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

• Identify and solve multi-dimensional, complex, operational and organizational problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department.

• Significantly improve and change existing methods, processes and standards within job discipline.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.

• Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.

• Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple department results within a function.

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

• Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.

• Experience preferred in developing and managing organizational budgets.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $180,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $200,000 annually.

The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
