The Adobe Experience Cloud solutions provide thousands of enterprises with deep insight into their customers, along with creation and management of content, assets, and personalized campaigns. Adobe Analytics tracks over 100 billion customer interactions a day and provides real-time interactive insights into that data.

We are a tight-knit, senior engineering team responsible for a critical collection of 20+ microservices processing tens of billions of data points daily across hundreds of pods in multiple geographic deployments. We own our roadmap end-to-end - from design and development as well as 24/7/365 operations of our services. We're looking to add a talented Software Engineer who's passionate about large-scale systems and eager to contribute to one of the most data-intensive platforms in the world. What You'll Do:

• Contribute to the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of large-scale, distributed systems.
• Operate, monitor, and debug highly-available services running in production.
• Continuously improve systems to meet reliability, scalability, and performance goals.
• Quickly ramp up on existing codebases and deliver meaningful, production-grade changes.
• Help define and measure success through the Four Golden Signals and SRE practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations and collaborate closely with fellow engineers across the stack.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong fundamentals in computer science and modern software engineering practices.
• Solid programming skills in Java or Scala, with understanding of the JVM (performance tuning, memory management, etc.).
• Experience working with REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Familiarity with distributed technologies like Kubernetes, Kafka, SQS, S3.
• Experience with QA and automated testing.
• Comfortable navigating and debugging unfamiliar codebases under tight timelines.
• An inclusive teammate who communicates effectively with different personality types.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with big data tools like Spark or Kafka Streams.
• Knowledge of GenAI tools and workflows (Cursor, Augment, MCP, RAG).

Work Location: This is a hybrid role based in our Lehi, UT office. Most team members work in-office Tuesday through Thursday, with flexibility to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those.
