Pay range: Actual pay may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for incentive compensation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver innovative, high-quality industry leading communication services for deaf and hard of hearing communities.
• Participate in the software development process and software lifecycle of internal applications.
• Work with cross functional teams to design, implement and deploy new features and enhancements.
• Collaborate with backend developers to define API's and interfaces for microservices.
• Collaborate with UX team and incorporate user feedback.
• Work with AWS services - EC2, lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Amazon Kinesis, Cloud Watch, etc.
• Implement standards based communication protocol and technologies using JSON, Http, REST.
• Design and develop high quality, high-performance enterprise-class services and operational management tools.
• Design, develop, and utilize tools for automatically evaluating product quality, system performance and scalability.
• Follow engineering best practices to develop high quality products as part of a committed team.
• Use of agile and rapid application development processes to speed engineering efforts.

Education Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Computer Science or a related area or equivalent work experience Required:

• Advanced development and debugging skills implementing system Java Script. React Native, Next.js, TypeScript and Electron.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud computing using AWS.
• Advanced knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, Orchestration (Terraform).
• Experience with Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and WebSocket.
• Must be able to effectively communicate using written English, and either spoken English or ASL.
• Demonstrated ability to manage small to medium sized projects.
• Experience with GitHub and GitHub actions.

Nice to have:

• AWS certification
• Proficiency with IP networking including TCP and UDP
