We are looking for a Sr. DevOps Engineer to support our real time communication (RTC) infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our voice communication platforms and services. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys automation, and has a passion for ensuring high availability and performance of communication systems.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Travel Requirements: Less than 25%
Minimum of a 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical field required, or equivalent work experience.
3 or more years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles within the telecom or networking domain.
Strong hands-on experience with VoIP technologies and protocols (SIP/SDP and RTP). Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and automation frameworks. Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Github Actions) and version control systems (Git). Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS). Solid understanding of QA methodologies and experience with automated testing frameworks. Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS and Azure). Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Attention to detail. Able to reference and understand RFCs such as RFC 3261. Familiarity with network protocols and routing (TCP/IP, UDP, Websockets, TLS, NAT traversal).
Experience with telecom-specific monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., RTCP, SIPp, SIPCapture). Knowledge of telecom regulations and standards (e.g., FCC, ITU-T, STIR/SHAKEN). Certifications in VoIP technologies, cloud platforms, or DevOps practices.
