An exceptional opportunity has become available at OpenText for a Senior Counsel to join our in-house HR, Litigation, and Compliance legal team. Based out of Toronto and reporting to the VP and GC - HR, Litigation and Compliance, this strategic in-house counsel position is dedicated to supporting the organization's legal needs with respect to HR and employment law while working with the broader legal and HR teams as well as business leaders. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, evolving organization and will be adept at connecting business strategy to legal work. They will serve as a trusted advisor to the business, providing guidance to mitigate organizational risk. This role supports OpenText's Americas business, with an emphasis on US and Canadian employment law, and opportunity for exposure to international litigation matters.
