The Financial Services Program Manager will lead business process transformation and software development initiatives for cross-functional teams within the Tesla Insurance organization through business analysis, key metric definition, operational and system strategy definition, requirement documentation, stakeholder alignment, and milestone planning. The Program Manager will be responsible for tracking program initiatives, communicating status to executive leadership, and driving accountability across business, product, and engineering teams.
Support process improvement, process automation, and system enhancement initiatives for Finance organizations. Key workstreams may include auto insurance, as well as credit origination for auto and energy finance.
Partner with leadership and operations teams to understand current business processes, and create data-driven proposals for policy, process, system, and organizational structure changes required to further cost efficiency and automations.
Design, implement, and manage pilot programs or proof-of-concepts to test new technologies and business models. This includes defining success criteria and planning for expansion.
Work closely with teams across the company, such as engineering, product, data science, and business operations, to develop and execute innovation strategies.
Partner with Technical Program Team to create detailed "path to launch" roadmap, including requirements closure, product grooming, development, QA and testing timelines.
Serve as the central point of contact for business programs, managing communications and facilitating decision-making among various stakeholders.
Stay current on industry, market, and technology trends to champion innovative insurance processing approaches and techniques.
What You'll Bring:
5+ years of experience self-managing large, cross-functional projects with impeccable organizational skills and acute attention to detail. Insurance and Claims experience preferred.
Confident and articulate communicator, with exceptional leadership skills. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to provide professional presentations to senior level managers and executive leadership.
Ability to work within a complex and fluid, fast-paced, demanding work environment.
Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal business functions around the globe, as well as external advisors.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Project software applications for analysis and presentation.
International business experience, and willingness to travel preferred.
