We are hiring a full time Peer Support Specialist Manager in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Peer Support Specialist Manager provides a variety of targeted services with residential patients, all within the scope of their job. These services range from general support to developing Wellness Recovery Action Plans. The Peer Support Specialist Manager is responsible for providing the highest quality possible care to every client served. This role can be complex as support staff must navigate between varying interests. For example, while client advocacy and rapport must be priorities, consideration must be given to the treatment implications of interventions prescribed by clinical staff. This role requires strong collaborative skills, as Peer Support Specialist Manager works with various teams, including treatment teams and recovery support staff. The Peer Support Specialist Manager assists the Director of Substance Use Disorder Treatment Services and Residential Program Managers in providing the highest quality care to all program participants. The overall goals of this position are to (a) provide high-quality care for clients, (b) provide a high level of customer service for funders, clients, and other stakeholders, (c) provide support for the clinical and client advocate staff, and (d) work to increase client retention in the residential setting.
