You'll be a vital part of the Public Safety team by helping ensure quality customer service to the diverse citizens of Utah.

General Duties: As an Office Specialist II in Customer Service, you will:

• Provide customer service in a call center environment by responding to inbound phone calls.
• Interact with customers to communicate information about all aspects of the Driver License Division in response to questions from the public.
• Assist with questions which will range from very basic to very complex, including information about products and services the division provides.
• Have extensive knowledge and understanding of the agency database and exercise judgment while applying a comprehensive knowledge of pertinent rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Handle customer complaints and offer suitable solutions.
• Provide the public and others with information and assistance to complete forms and applications.

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this position will have work experience with:

• Customer service
• Handling confidential and sensitive information
• Speaking clearly, concisely and effectively
• Listening to, and understanding, information and ideas as presented verbally
• Finding and gathering information or data
• Multi-tasking while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Assisting people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism
