Job Description The Marketing Manager for the Leavitt School of Health (WGU Academy products) is responsible for the execution of marketing strategies that support brand development, new student growth, and other priorities for their assigned academic college. Among the Manager's responsibilities is launching audience and offering messages and growth strategies that are college-specific (i.e., "product marketing"). The Manager will work with the Senior Director to understand internal and external factors that affect college performance including the evolving portfolio of academic course and program offerings, industry associations and employer partnerships, target audiences, market demand trends, and competitor behavior. The Manager works in daily partnership with associate deans and program chairs within their assigned college to understand program goals and targets, develop campaigns and placements to support program strategies, execute on college-specific initiatives, and report on results. The Manager will spend more time interfacing and collaborating with members of the Marketing team and must build trust and wield strong influence within the organization. This role requires a driving action through influence vs. direct authority, as well as fluency in various marketing disciplines, including brand, traditional and digital media, SEO, content marketing, conference and event marketing, and more.
