Tier 2 Deskside Support Professional

TEKsystems is seeking a Tier 2 Deskside Support professional with expertise in Apple products (macOS/iOS) and experience managing these in an enterprise environment using Microsoft technologies like Intune and O365 for a 6 month contract position. The position involves advanced troubleshooting, project ownership, and strong customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exceptional Tier 2 On Site Support: Provide advanced deskside support, acting as an escalation point for hardware (Mac laptops/peripherals), software (macOS, O365, etc.), network, and peripheral issues.
  • Apple & Microsoft Endpoint Management: Manage laptop imaging, deployment, and configuration using Intune Autopilot. Configure and support mobile devices (iOS/iPadOS) via Intune MDM/MAM (Mobile Device Management/Mobile Application Management). Ensure the seamless integration and functionality of Microsoft technologies (O365, Teams, Azure AD) within a predominantly Mac environment.
  • Troubleshooting & Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex connectivity issues, including VPN access, DNS, and general network problems, collaborating with network engineers when necessary.
  • Documentation & Project Management: Create and maintain clear technical and user-facing documentation in a knowledge base. Take ownership of projects, such as new technology rollouts or process improvements.
  • Customer Advocacy & Standards: Deliver a high standard of customer service, focusing on strong customer advocacy and adhering to established SLA (Service Level Agreement) and KPI (Key Performance Indicator) standards.
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal IT teams, security administrators, and external vendors to streamline support efforts and drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven Expertise with Apple Products: Extensive experience in supporting, troubleshooting, and configuring macOS and iOS devices across various versions. Apple certifications (e.g., Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT)) are a plus but not required.
  • Microsoft Technology Proficiency: Strong knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack on Mac, including Microsoft 365 administration, Intune (Endpoint Manager), and Azure AD/Entra ID.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must be a proactive, data-driven individual with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Experience: We are looking for someone with 2-4 years of experience in a desktop support or technical support role, with experience providing advanced, hands-on support in a corporate environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Cottonwood Heights, UT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
