Intern must be available to work full time (40 hours/week) during the 10-week program.
Program Dates: May 29 – August 7, 2026.
Location: This position is fully remote / work from home in the continental US. Central/Mountain time zone preferred. Candidates local to Denver, CO would have opportunity for engagement with local team members.
Work Authorization: US work authorization required for this role. Individuals requiring work authorization are not eligible. Program eligibility is contingent on the candidate's commitment to the entire 10-week program. No exceptions will be made.
The intern will gain firsthand exposure to the technical and strategic aspects of AC/DC power systems and HVAC standards as practiced within Lumen and more broadly, within the telecommunications industry. Through partnership with a senior engineer, the intern will have the opportunity to observe and participate in critical decision-making processes, learn about industry best practices, and develop a comprehensive understanding of our procedures and challenges. The intern will play a pivotal role in bridging the technical requirements of our current systems with the demands of future upgrades and integrations. Their specialized knowledge will support the evaluation of existing infrastructure and the planning and implementation of future changes to ensure reliability, efficiency, and compliance with evolving industry/regulatory standards.

Internship compensation ranges depend on each individual's level of education, geographic location, and experience/qualifications aligned to the role.
Hourly Based Pay Range: Min: $26/hour Max: $38/hour
