Clean Harbors in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking an InSite Operations Manager to oversee the management of waste generated at our customer site, dealing with hospital compliance and waste management. Supporting Program Managers, assist with general needs to Branch and InSite Group, and fill in for employees on vacation/leave. This position will report to the Mountain District Manager but will work closely with the affected Branches. Under direction of Customer management and with general guidance from the CHES' designated InSite Services management representative, CHES personnel will provide environmental management services to support operations as identified below. Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) will be utilized to define proper execution of service tasks. All CHES personnel will be trained in SOP's for each service task and training documentation will be maintained on file at the Facility by CHES.
· Visually inspect all Pharmaceutical Waste, Silver Nitrate and Aerosol collection containers.
· Proper labeling and placement of all satellite accumulation containers.
· Collection of lined pharmaceutical waste containers by pulling liners and relining satellite collection containers.
· Consolidation of pharmaceutical waste into DOT rated 55 gallon containers.
· Proper labeling and staging of 55 gallon containers of pharmaceutical waste in the main accumulation area at the acute care facilities.
· Universal waste management and shipment preparation.
· Collection, consolidation, and shipment preparation of lab waste and tissues in formalin.
· Make hazardous waste determinations and lab pack hazardous waste streams when necessary.
· Manage waste inventories and print waste labels and shipment paperwork onsite.
· Support providing guidance to hospital staff on the proper utilization of Clean Harbors pharmaceutical waste collection guidelines.
· Compliance inspections of satellite and main accumulation areas.
· Communication of any observed compliance concerns to HCA environmental management.
· Communication of supply inventory needs for satellite collection containers to HCA environmental management.
· Management of Clean Harbors' provided supplies for all of HCA locations.
· Support Customer during regulatory inspections and investigations within vendors scope of service.

Qualifications:
Financial management, logistics or sales experience
Working knowledge of environmental statutes and regulations, business development, revenue enhancement and market penetration
Leadership experience
Perform physical functions per job requirements
Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position
Completion of the HEP series vaccine
Preferred Qualifications:
Attention to detail, able to take and follow direction, and to perform multiple tasks
Ability to interface with customers
Valid Driver's license
Knowledgeable with the following regulations (RCRA, DOT, TSCA, etc.)
Comfortable managing finances
Able to coordinate the oversite of projects
Able to manage complex tasks
Knowledgeable of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, etc.
