Human Services & Child Care Investigator Licensor II - Salt Lake City

The Utah Division of Licensing and Background Checks (DLBC) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investigator to join our team. In this role, you will investigate complaints regarding unlicensed programs and concerns of rule, statute and law violations in licensed programs. If you have a passion for regulatory compliance and want to make a real difference in public safety, this is the opportunity for you! This position requires traveling and overnight stays throughout the State of Utah.

The Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Licensing and Background Checks (DLBC) protects the vulnerable populations of Utah. DLBC licenses foster care, child care, human services, and health facility programs using rules and requirements that have been created with community support. DLBC is comprised of the Office of Background Processing (OBP), the Office of Licensing (OL) and the Center for Medical Cannabis (CMC).
