Cimarron is seeking a senior-level Fire Protection Engineer to support the US Air Force's Sentinel program. Cimarron provides engineering and technical support to Bechtel for the design, construction, and integration of the Sentinel launch infrastructure at locations to include Vandenberg AFB, CA, F.E. Warren AFB, WY, Malmstrom AFB, MT, and Minot AFB, ND. Sentinel is a vital US Air Force program that will recapitalize the nation's aging ground-based leg of the nuclear triad -- the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM). This is an on-site position that offers a 9X80 work schedule (i.e., every other Friday off), paid overtime, and a great work/life balance. Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time. Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver’s license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire. Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use. 6 or more years of fire protection experience. Degree or certificate in Fire Protection. High School diploma or equivalent and a certification in Fire Protection, or a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education: Active Secret clearance. P.E. License with the ability to stamp fire protection system designs.
