The School of Social Sciences at Utah State University invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Cultural or Bio-cultural Anthropology. We seek candidates in medical anthropology who integrate quantitative and qualitative methods and also have a coherent theoretical framework for studying health and well-being. Candidates who conduct community engaged research, have research interests related to mental health, and/or a record of securing external funds are also strongly encouraged to apply. The anthropology program at USU further values candidates who can demonstrate collaboration potential with colleagues in the School of Social Sciences in order to strengthen existing academic programs, external funding applications, and research output.
