Account Executive (In-Home Delivery)

The uShip Sales team is seeking a versatile and highly motivated Account Executive to drive new business and partner with retailers shipping large and complex household items through our In-Home Delivery (IHD) white-glove solution. IHD operates much like a startup within the larger uShip eco-system.

This is a full-cycle sales role (A → Z) with ownership across prospecting, closing, and early-stage account development. You will play a key role in winning new clients and supporting the growth of a rapidly evolving program, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

As a key member of the Sales team, you will engage with senior stakeholders, identify complex business challenges, and position uShip as a long-term logistics partner. While the sales cycle is structured, the program itself continues to evolve—requiring adaptability, strong ownership, and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

Own the full sales cycle (A → Z) including outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, discovery, demo, proposal, and close.

  • Win new client business by selling uShip's In-Home Delivery (white-glove) solution to furniture and oversized goods retailers
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline through proactive outbound activity and partnership with Marketing
  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients, identifying pain points and aligning uShip's solutions to their operational needs
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior decision-makers
  • Partner closely with Customer Success Managers to ensure a smooth transition post-sale, while maintaining visibility into account performance and growth opportunities
  • Mine existing accounts for expansion opportunities in collaboration with Customer Success and other internal teams
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support client needs, creatively problem-solve within the current product, and share feedback to inform ongoing improvements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline and account activity within CRM
  • Operate with a high level of ownership in a fast-moving, evolving environment

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in full-cycle B2B sales (SaaS, logistics, or related industry preferred)
  • Proven ability to close new business with minimal oversight
  • Experience managing both inbound and outbound sales motions
  • Strong prospecting skills with the ability to build pipeline independently
  • Ability to engage and influence senior-level stakeholders
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a collaborative environment
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with attention to detail
  • High level of initiative, adaptability, and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to balance structure in the sales process with flexibility in a growing program
  • Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)
  • Startup or small business experience is a plus

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistently hitting new business and pipeline generation targets
  • Successfully transitioning new clients to Customer Success with strong onboarding momentum and through collaboration with the CS team
  • Building long-term client relationships that drive expansion and retention

Location: Austin, TX 78701, remote or hybrid team environment

Salary: $92,700 base salary + commission (uncapped)
