Position Highlights

  • Responsible for assisting legal counsel in research activities and preparation of legal documents for trial testimony, offensive litigation testimony, and depositions
  • Partners with legal firms to reach resolutions that are in the best interest of the customer, the company and investors
  • Attends in person any necessary trials, settlement conferences, and depositions
  • Coordinates with relevant departments regarding the necessary information required for trials and depositions
  • Review and maintenance of customer accounts as needed
  • Must travel to different locations for review and testimony at jury/non-jury trials, depositions, and settlement conferences. Travel can be expected as up to 80%

Basic Qualifications

  • Typically has a high school diploma
  • Five or more years of related experience
  • Strong foundation in financial and accounting principles

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Ability to perform, research and review customer accounts
  • Well-developed reading, writing and verbal communication and grammatical skills
  • Thorough understanding of policy/procedure for the department
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local laws and policies
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data involved with all servicing business lines
  • Excellent decision-making capabilities
  • Confident, professional and influential
  • Ability to organize and manage a large volume of detailed tasks

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
