The Lending Core Operations Loan Servicing Analysis And Support role is an experienced individual contributor responsible for executing complex commercial lending operational processes with a high degree of accuracy, timeliness, and risk awareness. This role manages non-routine or escalated work, applies sound judgment in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements, and supports operational stability through subject-matter expertise and informal peer guidance. The analyst supports technology initiatives and commercial loan posting solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across multiple lines of business with the focus in the commercial lending system, AFS. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem solving, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume operational environment. The successful candidate will be a support to the Commercial Lending System Conversion occurring in 2027.

This position is strictly a hybrid role with onsite attendance requirements (3 or more days per week) at 1850 Osborn Ave., Oshkosh, WI 54902

Key Responsibilities

  • Process complex, high-risk, or non-routine operational transactions in accordance with established policies, loan documents, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work while meeting service level and quality expectations
  • Research, analyze, and resolve discrepancies, and escalated issues, appropriately document actions and outcomes
  • Analyze and review loan histories to identify trends and key data points; develop and maintain Excel-based financial models and reports to quantify dollar impacts and support decision-making
  • Demonstrate strong ownership and accountability for assigned work, including follow-through on open items
  • Apply judgment and adaptability when interpreting procedures and loan documents or managing changing priorities
  • Serve as a subject-matter resource for specific processes, products, or systems; provide informal guidance or support to peers as needed
  • Identify potential process gaps, risks, or inefficiencies and escalate observations through appropriate channels
  • Collaborate effectively with internal partners across operations, risk, compliance, and other functional teams
  • Support audit, review, remediation, or change initiatives as assigned
  • Analyze and interpret reporting and operational data related to commercial loan posting activities
  • Support system conversion initiatives by executing test cases, documenting results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate outcomes and a successful implementation

Basic Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent - Five to seven or more years of operations services related work experience Preferred Skills/Experience - Knowledge of products, services, terminology, procedures and systems related to assigned area, as well as applicable laws and regulatory requirements - Proven commitment to high quality customer service - Ability to work well with external and internal customers - Good time management skills to maximize production and execution of tasks in a fast-paced environment - Good understanding and knowledge of internal policies and procedures within Operations Services and enterprise wide - Physical requirements could include lifting trays of work, pushing carts of work, standing or sitting for extended periods of time, and repetitive motions - Ability to identify, analyze and resolve exceptions through data interpretation - Strong PC skills -Good verbal and written communication skills

Location expectations This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $25.63 - $34.18
