We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Data Management Team Leader to lead our team of Data Management Specialists. This role leads day to day execution of HR data management operations while driving continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and team capability. This role plays a critical part in enabling trusted people data, reducing operational risk, and supporting seamless employee and manager experiences across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will bring operational excellence, strategic insight, and people leadership to elevate our data management function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of HR Data Management Specialists to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant data and access services.
  • Oversee HR data and system access activities across core platforms, ensuring data integrity, appropriate access controls, and audit readiness.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex data management issues.
  • Ensure data management processes meet audit standards, security requirements, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Use KPIs and operational metrics to identify risks, improve cycle time, reduce rework, and enhance overall data management efficiency.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of compliance, legal, and risk requirements related to HR data and access management, and ensure team processes and controls align with those requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in HR operations, with demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of compliance, confidentiality, and risk management in HR contexts.
  • Proven ability to manage escalations and influence across departments.
  • Experience with ServiceNow and Workday platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in providing work direction, coaching, influencing and guidance to direct reports and leading colleagues through influence.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing employees, fostering growth, and engagement.
  • Ability to lead through change and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with a focus on outcomes.
  • Experience with Access Management and security role provisioning.

Location Expectations:

  • This role requires three (3)+ days in office in one of the listed U.S. Bank hubs.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $92,820.00 - $109,200.00
