The Equipment Finance Core Collections Team has a Collector 2 opening. A Collector 2 will manage a specialized portfolio to collect payment on assigned delinquent accounts by directly communicating with customers and arranging for payment in order to minimize loss to the organization. A candidate may find success in collaborating with senior leaders and other functional teams in addition to working directly with our clients and sales teams to resolve and reconcile complex customer accounts. The position may provide project opportunities as well as the ability to participate as a peer mentor in coaching and guiding new employees.

Job highlights:

  • Functions as the primary daily contact between commercial banking customers and U.S. Bank.
  • Maintains and expands the relationship with customers by providing overall customer support services.
  • Works proactively to identify potential problems, compliance issues, and to maximize client satisfaction and encourage expansion of the relationship.
  • Identifies products and services that meet customer's needs.
  • Develops working knowledge of assigned area and accounts through frequent client contact and execution of standard departmental procedures.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week. The team works in office, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Basic qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years of experience in the financial services industry

Preferred skills/experience:

  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven customer service and problem resolution skills
  • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
  • Basic knowledge of departmental and bank products and services
