Software Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure)

U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Software Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure) in Irving, TX.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software applications.
• Monitor alerts and dashboards for cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and test scripts for production-ready, testable, and deployable codes.
• Perform failover operations for applications to ensure product development follows compliance and security best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug incidents from broken infrastructure by considering scalability, reliability, and performance of systems and contexts affected when defining technical designs.
• Guide application teams to perform all required operations before cloud migrations by providing instruction on engineering best practices and development procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

Position requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and 2 years in a Software Developer, or related, occupation.

Required Skills/Experience:

Must include 2 years of experience with each of the following: Deploying and tracking changes to production using DevOps and CI/CD; Performing root case analysis for incident and production failures; Azure pipelines, Azure data explorer, power automation, and Azure infrastructure; SQL query; and GIT repository.

Teams may work from home and the office. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $112,923 - $155,000.
