Without Compensation Research Health Systems Specialist

This position serves as Without Compensation Research Health Systems Specialist within the Office of Research and Development (ORD). The VA Research Program strives to promote Veteran-centered care to improve patient experiences and outcomes across VA healthcare and community settings, and to advance value-driven care by providing Veterans the highest quality care at the lowest financial burden. Please note: There is no pay associated with this position.

Requirements include:

• You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this job.
• All applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.

• Specialized Experience: Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled.
• Education: Applicants may substitute education for the required experience.
• Degree: Engineering.
• Combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements: The work is primarily sedentary, although some slight physical effort may be required.
